No Regrets? Walker Brothers Face the Music

The sun ain’t gonna shine anymore for Adam and Mark Walker, BNP candidates in the Sedgefield borough in May’s elections. The brothers, both teachers face ruined careers as a result of their fascist politics.
Adam Walker was suspended from his post at Houghton Kepier School in Houghton-le-Spring earlier this year, after accessing racist sites on school computers while he was supposed to be teaching. Facing disciplinary action, Adam quit rather than risk being sacked.
Meanwhile, his brother Mark, a technology teacher, has also been suspended, pending investigation, after accessing the BNP website during working hours at Sunnydale Comprehensive in Shildon, County Durham.
Adam, an expert in that well-known traditional British sport, karate, was immediately derided as a ‘total moron’, a ‘spineless so-called ‘patriot’’ and an ‘obviously dim person’ on neo-nazi internet discussion board Stormfront, for admitting his guilt and giving in without a fight.
Stormfront members may yet have reason to hold Mark up as a hero and a martyr for remaining defiant. No doubt the BNP too will defend the rights of teachers to spend time chatting online with fellow fascists and racists instead of teaching the pupils in their care.
